This is now known as the 45/55 principle in respect of the relationship between the volume of the breast in the upper/lower pole. This now gives Mr Mallucci a blueprint of the ideal outcome for his patients who want for example breast augmentation. Mr Mallucci believes a natural breast is the result most patients want and his work on the perfect breast has resonated with patients and surgeons all around the world. It was presented extensively on various continents and won awards on the international stage. It is work such as this which sets Mr Mallucci aside from general plastic surgeons who do not focus on specific areas of the body in such finite detail.
