Vaginal Laxity

Reversing the effects of vaginal laxity due to childbirth or ageing has never been so easy. Thanks to a non-invasive procedure called Votiva, patients are now able to restore sexual health without undergoing surgery. Votiva uses radiofrequency technology to safely and effectively tighten the internal vaginal canal and outer labia.

Unlike alternative methods, Votiva is pain-free and requires zero downtime. Although a course of treatment may be necessary to achieve optimal results, patients can resume their regular day after each procedure, including any sexual activities.

FAQ

The ideal candidates for ThermiVa are women who have had natural childbirths and want to restore previous vaginal tightness. Mild to moderate vaginal laxity can be treated with radiofrequency technology.

ThermiVa heats tissue and stimulates collagen growth both internally in the vaginal canal and externally to the outer labia.

Typically, a ThermiVa full treatment will last approximately 30-45 minutes. Vaginal tightening can take 15-20 minutes while labia majora tightening is only 10-15.

The majority of patients will notice results after the first treatment. However, optimal results are often achieved 3-months after the final treatment session.

No. ThermiVa is a non-surgical treatment for vaginal laxity. You’ll be able to return to your normal daily activities immediately after your ThermiVa treatment. Unlike surgical options, you can also resume sexual activities the same day.

The recommended number of sessions varies on a case by case basis. However, most women achieve desired results after three treatments.  Each treatment is carried out 4-6 weeks apart. Annual maintenance treatments may also be necessary for some patients.
