Veins

Through the use of advanced laser technology, broken veins, spider veins and cherry spots are able to be treated quickly and effectively. These can be targeted by using laser light energy along the vein to destroy the blood vessel, while leaving surrounding tissue unharmed. We also offer sclerotherapy – a small injection directly into the vein which will break it down, allowing your body to naturally dispose of the vein. Patients experience minimal pain and discomfort during this procedure.

Minimal downtime is needed for this non-invasive procedure making it an ideal treatment for those seeking to reduce the appearance of dark veins. A course of laser treatments may be required to achieve optimal results.

FAQ

If you have either spider veins, broken veins or cherry spots, laser or sclerotherapy treatment may be an option for you. Smaller spider veins are most effectively treated with laser technology. If you have an underlying condition, such as varicose vein, we may advise for you to see your GP prior to starting treatment.

There are many areas that can be treated across the whole body – these include legs, thigh and facial veins – including those around the nose.

Treatment time can last anywhere from 15 – 60 minutes depending on the size of the area to be treated.

Results can be immediate or visible over the course duration – your aesthetician will advise a realistic time scale during consultation.

There minimal downtime with both laser and sclerotherapy treatments. Patients can resume daily activities after their procedure, however, some patients may experience slight swelling and redness for up to 48 hours after their treatment.

Depending on the size of the area to be treated a course of treatments may be required – treatments are usually carried out 4-6 weeks apart. The appearance will continue to improve after each successive laser treatment.
