Upper Blepharoplasty
Book in if: You’re looking for a subtle yet highly effective procedure to rejuvenate tired eyes or lift hooded or droopy eyelids.
What to expect: This 30-minute surgery sees excess skin removed from your upper eyelids, resulting in a more open and ‘awake’ appearance. Designed to treat perpetually tired looking eyes or hooded and droopy eyelids. The procedure is carried out under sedation and you’ll spend approximately one hour in the recovery room post-surgery. After that, you’ll have Steristrips on for one week before returning for a follow up appointment with a nurse.
Downtime: There may be a small amount of swelling or bruising after your surgery. Expect a maximum of one or two weeks of downtime before your skin settles into a fresh, more awake look.
Liposuction
Book in if: You want to sculpt your body and minimise love handles, stomach, thighs, saddlebags or any areas of stubborn fat.
What to expect: If it’s contouring you crave, liposuction is the treatment to book in for. Carried out under sedation, your surgeon will suction out fat for long-lasting results.
Downtime: You may have swelling and bruising for two to three weeks post-surgery. During this time, you’ll wear Steristrips/plasters (one week) and a compression garment for body treatments (two to three weeks). You will see an instant change, however, with results continuing to improve over time. Final results are visible after six to eight weeks.
Labiaplasty
Book in if: You’re looking to symmetrise the inner labia or reduce the clitoral hood with surgery.
What to expect: Labiaplasty is a surgery that takes place under sedation and local anaesthetic, designed to fix asymmetric labia and labial hypertrophy. It can also be used to reduce the clitoral hood.
Downtime: After labiaplasty, you may experience some bruising and swelling, with around one week of downtime.
We also offer vaginal radiofrequency; designed to treat postpartum-, menopause- or stress-induced incontinence or dryness, and to improve skin laxity.
Lump Removal & Scar Revision
Book in if: You’re looking to remove moles or lumps OR to reduce the appearance of scars.
What to expect: The clue is in the name. Dr. Jana can remove lumps, bumps and moles, including lipomas and lesions. Meanwhile, a scar revision sees even deep scarring smoothed over and minimised. Both surgeries are carried out under local anaesthetic.
Downtime: There will be minimal downtime. However, you will need to attend a follow-up appointment with the nurse one week later.
