Dr Steve Allen is a Consultant Radiologist at Mallucci London, with a specialist interest in breast oncological imaging. Dr Allen is currently a Consultant at The Royal Marsden NHS Trust, and was appointed in 2007. He is also a specialist advisor to NICE on radiological breast interventional procedures.
Dr Allen trained in Medicine at Guys and St Thomas’ Hospital, completing his specialist Radiological training at the Hammersmith Hospital in London, before being appointed as a Consultant Radiologist. Dr Allen also covered The Royal Marsden’s Surrey Hospital as Lead Breast Radiologist and was the clinical lead for their Rapid Diagnostic and Assessment Centre, amongst other roles.
Dr Allen has published several research papers on the use of minimally invasive biopsy procedures and MRI techniques for imaging prior to breast reconstructive surgery. He has lectured internationally and taught many juniors and fellow consultants on his techniques and research.
